Incorporation of 32P into nucleic acids in mammary tissue of mice susceptible and resistant to breast cancer.

چکیده
Incorporation of 32p into RNA and DNA fractions of mammary and tumor tissue was studied in virgin C3H mice, which are susceptible to the development of breast cancer. Virgin C57BL mice, which are resistant to the development of breast cancer, were the controls. Virgin C3H and C57BL mice, 4 and a months old, and tumor-bearing C3H mice were used as the experimental groups. The incorporation of 32p into RNA and DNA fractions did not dirfer signiAcantly among the 4and a-month-old, virgin C3H mice. The tumor tissue had the highest rate of uptake of 32p into both nucleic acids. In castrated C3H mice and CS7BL females, the incorporation of 32p into nucleic acids in the mammary tissue of the C57BL females was significantly lowered, whereas in the C3H mice it remained comparable with that observed in the corresponding control groups.-J Nat Cancer Inst 46: 731-734,1971.

Detection of Mouse Cytomegalovirus in Adenocarcinoma Bearing Razi/A Mice: Molecular and Pathological Studies
Despite a lot of research, the etiology and progression of breast cancer remain incompletely understood. Recently, human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) was reported as a risk factor for breast cancer. The aim of this study was to know whether breast cancer could be caused by cytomegalovirus or not? In this experiment seventeen samples of RAZI/A mice with spontaneous breast cancer were being gathered fr...
متن کاملEffect of Interval Training on the Expression of Mesenchymal Biomarker Vimentin and Tumor Volume in Mice with Breast Cancer
Introduction Many deaths from cancer are due to metastases, a process which involves the epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT). On the other hand, regular exercise plays an important role in inhibiting the progression of breast cancer. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of interval training on the expression of VIM, the gene encoding for EMT biomarker viment...

Background: Breast cancer is one of the most important causes of death in women. One of the various gene expression involved in breast cancer is human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2/neu) gene expression increases. Factors of dietary affect on regulation of hormone secretion and the rate of breast cancer. One of these factors is amount and type of fats in diet. Gamma-linolenic acid (GL...
متن کاملInvestigation of p53 and p27 expressions in the N-nitroso-N-methylureainduced breast cancer in female Wistar Albino rats
Introduction: N-nitroso-N-methylurea (NMU) is a carcinogen from nitrosamines family, which has been used to induce breast cancer in rodents. This model of breast cancer is very similar to the estrogen dependent breast cancer in human. As a continuation of our recent works, in the present study, the expressions of both p53 and p27 were investigated in NMU-induced breast cancer in Wistar Albin...

Introduction: Breast cancer is the most common cancer and leading cause of death among women worldwide. The aim of the present study was to determine synergistic effects of 5 weeks of endurance training along with curcumin on cancer progression, levels of VEGF-A, and gene expression of VEGFR in cancer tissue of female Mice with breast cancer. Methods: The present study was an experimental study...
